wasteland

Blender project created for a class project in the 2nd year of my animation degree. Representing the UN sustainability goal NO.2: Zero Hunger, this broken doll was a robotic maid, but she was dumped into landfills due to manufacturing deformities. She now lives around the settlements around the landfills and scarps other deformed robots for their parts to repair herself.
This character was inspired by the millions of tons of 'unattractive food' waste, and the Japanese Wabi-Sabi ideology of appreciating imperfection, where they use the Kintsuki technique to fix broken pottery.

Blender model created for a group project in the 3rd year of my animation degree. The animation is a mockumentary of the animals living in the London Underground. I was in charge of the envrionment design of this project. Given the complex and architectural nature of the environment, the backgrounds were 3D-modelled.
